China-Africa Cotton Mozambique Limited -the cultivator for extending the friendship history of China and Africa

China-Africa Cotton Mozambique Ltd, an integrative company with business scope of cotton growing and ginning, cooking oil production, airflow spinning and logistics, is a wholly owned subsidiary company of China-Africa Cotton Development Ltd in Mozambique. The company located in Beira, is taking full advantages of local geographical conditions, human resources and natural climate to develop agricultural industry. Besides, CACM is also making use of the advantage of Beira port to develop logistics industry.

Beira city in Mozambique was the farthest place of Zheng He's voyage. There are plenty of preserved cultural relics and heritages of Chinese ancestors which have witnessed the deepest friendship between Chinese and Africa. The company insisting principles of extending China-Africa friendship, developing Africa agriculture and improving local farmers' living condition, has now employed 70 million square meters land, 600 local workers and 50 thousand farmers.

CACM has purchased the French cotton company C.N.A, which operated more than 100 years in Mozambique, as a result that the influence of Chinese enterprises is greatly increased in Mozambique. CACM has become one of the 3 largest cotton planting and processing enterprises in Mozambique. The establishment of this project is not only a model of Chinese enterprises expanding international programs, but also a bridge to enhance the friendship between Chinese and Mozambique. More than a simple investment and cooperation project, it is a concrete manifestation of Chinese enterprises taking advanced technology into Africa. The project has gained high attention and quite a lot of support from both Chinese and Mozambique governments. At the same time, CACM will seize any opportunity for making contribution to extend the friendship between China and Mozambique.
